So, what’s the Big Idea?
Every business starts with a big idea. You know the one written on a napkin or scrap of paper at a coffee shop or bar. The one that has provided many with the dream of starting their own business. But it’s not just one idea that makes a business successful. It’s the many ideas that are shared during the course of business. And it is not just about ideas. It’s about how those ideas are implemented and used.
Just ask The Receivables Exchange's co-founders who took their ideas, put them on a napkin in a hotel bar and founded The Receivables Exchange, an online marketplace for accounts receivable financing. Five years later, The Receivables Exchange has funded over a billion dollars to SMBs looking for financing that don’t want to deal with the hassles of traditional bank financing or factoring. And The Receivables Exchange continues to grow and expand with ideas running rampant throughout the organization.
And so we have decided to launch a blog for our employees, partners and industry friends to share their big ideas on business. Not just on financing but on business practices in general. We invite you to comment and share your thoughts – good, bad or otherwise (keep it clean). And if you want to contribute or suggest a big idea, just let us know and we'll try to accommodate.
